Brochure:
The Wepco Lifting Anchor System is designed to set and retrieve sub sea guide posts. The Lifting Anchor may be engaged and disengaged to/from the guide posts by the operation of the lifting wire and an ROV manipulator. The Lifting Anchor is certified for 4 tons load and will fit any post top with a 76 -80 mm hole and an internal 90º shoulder.
Installing guide posts from a surface vessel, the anchor is manually engaged in the guide post top on the vessel deck and lowered to its desired position. Once positioned, the Lifting Anchor may be released from the guide post top by use of an ROV manipulator, without the loss or damage of any parts.
The Lifting Anchor may also be engaged to the guide post top under water by use of an ROV manipulator for bringing guide posts to the surface.
The bottom section of the Lifting Anchor has four spring loaded locking dogs, a moving outer sleeve, a coiled spring and a inner cone system that enables locking dogs to move in and out of the barrel as the sleeve is moved up and down.
The anchor has also the posibility to be hung inactive in the post top. Two retainers incorporated in the outer barrel prevent the anchor to slide down into the guide post.
The ROV Operated Lifting Anchor System is made fully from non-corrosive materials, eliminating the factor corrosion may have on lifetime and operation.
The Lifting Anchor is fitted with a wire extension ready for hook-up. The unit is delivered in a GRP case, easily handled and stacked.
