Wepco AS was established in 1986 and is now a modern, well equipped service workshop with highly qualified personell. In 2003 we moved into our new building near the Dusavik base just outside the centre of Stavanger. This building is tailor-made for our type of activity and enables us to handle a wide range of assignments in the field of service, production and maintenance for the oil industry.

Since the company`s establishment, we have made substantial investments every year in new machines and equipment. We are now one of the most modern machining workshops in Norway, when it comes to the treading of oil pipes and the manufacture of pup joint, x-overs and accessories.

We also have licencing agreements with all the suppliers of treads to the oil industy in the world. We are leaders in the Norwegian market for treading of pipes for exploration drilling.

Higly qualified employees and a modern machine park enable us to take on assignments that require a very high level of quality and precision.

We serve customers that demand flexible production, short delivery times and high quality. Our quality assurance system meets the requirements of ISO-9001:2000. In partnership with competent suppliers we are also able to undertake assignments that include welding, pressure testing, installation and maintenance.
